New Bingo Sites 2023

There’s no doubting that online bingo continues to grow in popularity and there seem to be still more new bingo sites launching every year. We review all the latest and best new bingo sites to launch in 2021.

The appeal to bingo players wanting to join a new site can depend on things like the welcome bonus, free bingo games and wagering requirements. We review each one to ensure you make an informed decision.

New Bingo Sites November 2020

It used to be that new bingo sites launched on a regular basis but since the introduction of new gambling rules and regulations, operators are not opening as many new ones as they once were. Whilst that might seem a bad thing at first glance, we can assure you it isn’t. The The UK Gambling Commission, the regulatory body for the UK, has only player safety in mind.

Additionally, fewer brand new bingo sites being launched means more brand loyalty to the more established online bingo sites, with less temptation to sign up for the latest welcome offer or bonus. This also also means more new players in the bingo rooms and more opportunities to chat!

Newest Bingo Sites

One of the newest bingo sites to launch on Pragmatic Play is PlayOJO Bingo which is better known as an online casino that offers players no wagering bonuses and deposit offers. LeoVegas, another well-known online casino, also announced it was creating a bingo offering using Pragmatic Play software at the beginning of October 2020. You can find a comprehensive listing of the latest new sites to launch on the Bingomum website.

New Dragonfish bingo sites continue to top the latest number of sites to launch like Dinky Bingo. And what looked like a slow start to the year, there have been a few more interesting launches.

Bingo All Stars is features a whole host of celebrities who, we are promised, will play in some of the bingo rooms and includes the likes of Christopher Biggins and Linda Lusardi, to name a few.

Mint Bingo is one of the latest new sites to launch on the Dragonfish Bingo platform. Boasting 52-ball bingo, 75 and 90 ball as well as free bingo rooms, there are also 500+ slot games on offer.

Newspapers and publishers are getting in on the act of launching new bingo sites too. Mirror Bingo and OK! Bingo have both relaunched on Jumpman Gaming software and were previously on Virtue Fusion from Playtech.

It’s also worth noting that all Jumpman Bingo sites now operate bingo rooms and games provided by Pragmatic Play, since March 2020 and we have a full list of Pragmatic Play Bingo sites for 2020.

We’re also looking to review the latest slots available to customers who love playing them, so watch this space for more updates.

What is a new bingo site?

New bingo sites are the most recently launched brands to offer the facilities to play the popular number game of chance on the Internet. On our dedicated page, you will find a selection of the latest bingo sites to open their virtual doors as well as others who we felt had made enough of a change to warrant inclusion on this page.

It could be that one of the older brands has had a makeover or revamped their welcome bonus for those registering an account for the first time. There are many reasons why they may be listed under the title ‘New Bingo Sites’.

Some new bingo sites aren’t what they seem. Buzz Bingo for example has gone through many makeovers, and it was originally branded Coral before it changed to Gala Bingo, and now back to Buzz Bingo again! This was a most anticipated bingo site new to the UK to have launched to date and continues to gain popularity with new players and old.

What’s the appeal?

There’s no easy answer as to what the appeal of a new bingo site is simply because it depends on why they are listed as one.

The most obvious answer would be that if it were a brand that you haven’t previously registered with as a new customer then you are able to take full advantage of the new player’s bonus that it has to offer.

If the site was to find itself on this page because it recently had a lick of virtual paint (redesigned), then the benefit would be that you get to check out if anything other than the design has changed. If it’s a brand that has chosen to change its software provider, then the chances are you will be able to grab the new player welcome offer too.

The new player bonuses and deposit bonuses offered by these sites do tend to be the best you are likely to get given.

It’s also worth exploring what the wagering requirements are of any new site you are looking to join as this can affect any free bingo or free bingo tickets you might expect with games you want to play.

What can I expect?

At most of the new bingo sites that launch, new customers can expect a decent bingo deposit bonus and lots of bingo rooms to choose from, as well as the usual 75 and 90 ball bingo games. In most instances, you’ll also get the opportunity to play bingo games with free bingo tickets and some of the bingo sites new on the market offer mobile bingo too.

New online sites with a 1st deposit bonus when you deposit £10 play like Buzz Bingo, will offer bingo games and bonus funds and the chance to play free bingo games, but make sure you check which terms apply to which bonus funds, especially wagering requirements.

Are new bingo sites no deposit bonuses available?

At the start of this article, we mentioned the legalities around online gambling and with the transparency of brand new bingo websites being the best it has ever been, no deposit required bonuses have more or less become a thing of the past.

Whilst you are rarely now offered a no deposit bingo bonus from the latest brand to join the industry, as a new player you can find some of the best bingo deposit bonuses at all the trusted bingo sites in the UK. You may also find yourself offered a whole plethora of other bonuses on top of the original new player deposit bonus.

Do I have to register my debit card?

Part of the changes made over the last few years is that operators are now required to verify your age before allowing you to deposit and play at their site. They are also not allowed to wait for you to be in a position to withdraw funds before you are asked for ID.

Age verification is usually done using the payment information that you use when registering at any of the sites so your financial information is usually required, but not always.

You can take a look around the site before registering banking credentials, but the bonus offers like free bingo or similar are rarely available without the depositing information.

What sort of welcome bonus can I expect?

That’s a question we could spend all day answering because the welcome bonuses and first deposit options vary from one site to another, as well as the wagering requirements. Details of the offers at these sites we have listed on this page can be seen next to the site logo.

Welcome packages are generally of a standard to each specific software/network so, for example, Jumpman Gaming and the 15 Network will offer their new players who make an initial deposit the chance to win up to 500 slot spins.

Electraworks/Cozy Games give a varying percentage bonus on initial deposits dependent on the value of the deposit. For £20 it’s a 100% bonus and 20 spins on Fluffy Favourites (as of February 2020).

Of course, if the new site that you opt to play at is a standalone brand (not part of a network), then there is a greater chance that the deposit offered is unique to the brand. Standalone brands do not launch very often though.

Some of them also include free bingo and games for new players, even before you make a deposit, but you may have to register your depositing method first to get the no-cost rooms. 888Ladies do not require this information but you can access the Newbie Rooms for three days from the point of registration.

Details of the current welcome bonus will be available on the home page and remember to read the terms and conditions (T&Cs) of the offer to ensure you understand the rules around the new bonus deal.

Are wagering requirements applicable?

The simple answer is yes. Most welcome bonuses will carry wagering requirements of some description or another. These are all available to peruse in the T&Cs that have to be just one click away from the offer.

However, since 2017/18 we have seen more and more sites launch offering ‘no wagering required’ style bonuses.

Dabber Bingo is an example of the no wagering requirements welcome bonus package. First-time depositors at the site who fund their account with £100 will be awarded £100 of bingo tickets (£50 to use in the Street Party room and £50 for use on the Big Bang game). There are also 10 spins given when you have spent £5 of your first deposit. Any winnings are awarded as real money and can be withdrawn immediately (correct as of February 2020).

Is a new site safe to deposit at?

Thanks to the changes to the licence requirements in the UK, any of the sites that are licenced by the UK Gambling Commission are safe to deposit at.

To be able to offer a bingo game in the UK, an operator has to have a licence from the UKGC but may also hold a licence from another jurisdiction. Look for the Gambling Commission logo at the bottom of any of the sites that you choose to make a deposit with.

Another way to distinguish if a new bingo site is safe to play at is to see if we have compiled a review of it! We only advertised the ones that are safe with full reviews.

How often do new bingo sites launch?

Where once we would see a whole host of new sites launch into the world of online bingo, new bingo websites are now quite a novelty. Even more of a novelty is a new bingo site that brings something entirely new to the table.

In most instances, new bingo sites that open are ones that are just a ‘skin’ of another brand that you might already be registered with.

With that said, the Nektan offering is fairly new to the industry and at this point in time, Flip Flop Bingo is the only one available to old and new players.

New Bingo software developers

There are two main software developers that we know of, who are developing bingo software: Yggdrasil and Pragmatic Play.

Whilst Pragmatic Play has had their offering available since 2017 with bingo game variants in 90 ball and 80 ball, there does not seem to be any site using their bingo software yet. However, an announcement by the company on 28th April 2020 suggests they have a new product called Bingo Blast. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see which gambling site will be the first to offer it as one of their games.

Yggdrasil’s solution has been talked about for over 2 years now and has been showcased at numerous conferences around the world. However, we are yet to see the software developers launch a new bingo white label yet. Maybe they’ve decided not to launch, or it’s mothballed. We will just have to wait and see.

Any news sites in the pipeline?

Karamba which is an casino site operating in many geo locations including the UK, has been suggesting they will launch a bingo product soon.

One rumour was that they were going to launch on Microgaming software, but on 27th March 2020, they have confirmed they will be closing their network. This comes as quite a shock when there are still bingo sites on their platform including Butlers, Glossy and 6 others.

Where the existing bingo sites on Microgaming will go is yet to be announced, but with the news that Aspire Global were granted a license to operate bingo in the UK, could be a clue. Or maybe it will be Pragmatic Play. We’ll bring you the latest news as soon as we hear about it.

Is the fairy-tale over?

Gambling is for over 18’s only. We all know that. So, is it a surprise that the UK Gambling Commission is applying even tighter controls on what operators can advertise when it comes to childish characters and fairy-tale themes? No, we don’t think so.

With the ever-popular Fluffy Favourites slot game available at most online bingo sites, operators can no longer offer free-play versions of the game for fear of underage gambling.

Age verification rules that came into place recently, also mean gambling operators cannot offer free spins with even the mention of the cuddly game if it’s of a childish or underage theme. However, they can still offer free bingo to players as long as the theme of the games isn’t appealing to minors.

New mobile bingo sites

There’s no denying that mobile consumption of any media continues to rise, and it’s no different for online bingo.

When it comes to playing bingo through a mobile app, there can be times when it’s just not convenient. And in most cases, people who use their mobile phones to play bingo are usually doing something else. Distractions from watching TV, riding the bus (and missing your stop) or just taking a phone call can all contribute to interrupting gameplay.

This is where bingo on mobile needs to evolve, and some software providers are heading in the right direction.

Having the ability to pre-buy tickets without having to play the game is one option that software providers like Virtue Fusion and Gamesys provide. This means you can buy your bingo tickets and still be “in the game” even if you have to stop for the bus or get distracted.

Sites from Jumpman Gaming and Dragonfish don’t have this option, but newcomer Pragmatic Play does, and this is where some of the new bingo sites for 2020 will probably launch on.

Bingo Chat still plays a big part of the gameplay action on mobile bingo sites, but it can be a tiresome exercise on such a small device. Whilst most players won’t chat as often on mobile, they’re still just as fast and tend to make sure of more emojis than they would on a PC or laptop.

Mobile bingo game design

UK leaders in online bingo like tombola and Buzz Bingo clearly know how to cater for mobile users. Innovative game design on mobiles has come a long way and these two big hitters cater for this in incredibly unique ways. Tombola’s recently launched game Potion has been designed purely for the mobile bingo player, and their Blocks game sees players with just one bingo ticket to deal with.

The cost for playing bingo

It came as no surprise when the UK Gambling Commission finally decided to put a stop to players using their credit cards to fund their accounts in April 2020. But when most UK bingo sites offer PayPal and Paysafecard as a suitable alternative, these can still be funded with credit cards.

There’s a massive social responsibility issue to ensure gamblers don’t fund their accounts using their credit cards by any third party, or these solutions themselves will also see a ban from the regulators. It’s safe to say that the most reliable form for depositing to play at sites in the UK is with your debit card, but be aware, you must be able to prove you afford to lose what you deposit.

Updates on new bingo sites

If we come across a new bingo site, our page will be updated. If a brand has a major overhaul in design or welcome bonus, we will update the page. If a site moves software provider, the details will be available on the page.

In most cases, we see more sites launching on Dragonfish software than any other platform, followed by Jumpman Gaming. However, one of the biggest new sites to launch recently on Virtue Fusion software in 2019 was Buzz Bingo which is probably one of best sites to play at in the UK.

How regularly that happens, we cannot say but we can promise that we have our finger on the pulse of all things bingo!

Bingo Reviews

As with most of our reviews, we try to mention if the new site has any new technology like a mobile app or a new game type. For most customers, the options for playing bingo will revolve around the standard 90 ball bingo games, but there are also options for other game types like 75 ball bingo.

Some of the most recent new bingo games with new technology to appear on the scene include;
