Bingo Ballroom Review

Bingo Ballroom

Bingo Ballroom has now closed its doors. This review will remain published for historical purposes.

About

It was quite some time ago that Bingo Ballroom first joined the online bingo scene, back in 2007 to be precise. Since then, it has undergone a few changes in the aesthetics but it has always remained on the Dragonfish network. Its history suggests that it is popular amongst players and if you’re a fan of the software and the network this site sits on, then you’ll know exactly what to expect from your gaming experience here.

Over the years we have seen many different designs of the home page, including a rather dull black colour scheme at one point. However, landing at the site now you will be greeted with something a little more pleasing to the eye. There’s a pink hue to the main banner and it’s splattered with golden stars and a couple of enthusiastic players.

The welcome bonus takes centre stage at this site, but you don’t have to be able to tango to trip the light fantastic with the brand. Simply register for an account and you’ll be waltzing into the rooms for some bingo and/or slot action!

Welcome Offer

Before you don your sparkly outfit for a twirl around the virtual dancefloor, you get to try before you buy with access to the Freemium room. This is, as the name suggests, a free play room. It boasts a 75-24 coverall game for a £150 prize pot. You can claim a maximum of six tickets for the game and you don’t even have to have made a deposit.

Lace up your tap shoes with a welcome bonus from Bingo Ballroom that sees an initial deposit of just £5 awarded a 200% bingo bonus AND a 100% games bonus.

The maximum bonus that can be awarded for bingo is £70 and the maximum bonus for games is £35.

Wagering Requirements

There are wagering requirements attached to the new player welcome bonus offered by Bingo Ballroom but these are industry standard for this type of hybrid bonus.

For the bingo bonus received, wagering requirements are 2x the amount of deposit and the bonus received. For the games bonus, the wagering is 30x the amount of deposit and bonus received.

The maximum value of any bonus that can be converted to real cash is £100.

It is worth noting that only the following games contribute 100% towards meeting the wagering requirements for the games bonus:

  • Slots
  • Progressive Jackpot Slots
  • Arcade
  • Scratchcards
  • Keno

Deposits and Withdrawals

When it comes to funding your account at Bingo Ballroom, popular options like debit cards and Paypal are available for use, the latter for UK players only.

Additionally, you could choose to deposit using any of the following methods too:

The minimum deposit and withdrawal amount are the same at just £5.

Promotions

You can access the promotions page at Bingo Ballroom from the home page without having to log in to your account. This enables you to see if the site has enough to meet your personal requirements.

There were several different promotions listed at the time of this review (April 2021) and these include, but are not limited to:

  • Mystery Jackpot Room – This room is available daily from 18:00 until 23:00 and offers games whose prize pots aren’t announced until 10 seconds before the game begins.
  • Free Bingo – If you’re looking to stretch your bingo budget then no-cost games are a must and there are quite a few available to the funded player at this site.
  • Daily Jackpots – Check out these daily games with over £5,000 up for grabs in a week if you are looking to scoop some of the larger prizes.
  • WOW – If you fancy winning slot spins rather than cash prizes, this 9 pm game from Sunday to Thursday is worth a punt.

All of the above is without mentioning the progressive jackpots and other guaranteed jackpot games available on site. Check out the jackpots section from the main lobby to see exactly what’s on offer.

Bonus Codes

The only Bingo Ballroom bonus code we could find listed on their site was in relation to their Happy Hour promotion. Every Monday, between 4 pm and  6 pm, each deposit of up to £100 will be awarded a 100% bingo bonus if you use the code HOUR. Please check directly with the site at the time of deposit to ensure that this promotional code is still valid.

If you have registered with the site to receive promotional or marketing materials, you may find that your chosen contact method receives a bonus code on occasion. This could be a code for a deposit bonus or simply some free spins, we cannot say specifically.

Should we receive any additional bonus codes that our readers can use, they will be listed here along with the terms and conditions of the offer.

Game Selection

Bingo and slots do the tango at Bingo Ballroom with a great selection of both on offer. When you enter the lobby, the default area that opens is bingo but to the left is a menu where you can easily access the slots.

For bingo, there are four different variations of the game to choose from. These are two versions of the 75 ball game (75-24 pattern bingo and 75-25, the five-line variant). 90 ball bingo is also available and the most recent addition, 52 ball bingo.

From the bingo lobby, you can see a selection of details for each room including:

  • Game type
  • Ticket price
  • Time until the next game
  • Player numbers
  • Progressive jackpot value (if the room has one)
  • Chat host name (if on duty)

All of this information helps you choose a room that suits your budget and gaming preference.

When playing bingo, you can also see a selection of instant win games and slots above the chat screen. These are mini-games and can be played alongside your bingo.

Additionally, there is quite an impressive selection of slots and instant win games to choose from with a variety of software providers having their titles in amongst the slots portfolio. You’ll find all of your favourite titles as well as an abundance of new games added on a regular basis.

Fluffy Favourites, Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, Cleopatra, Millionaire Genie – these are all popular titles amongst bingo players and all can be found at this site. These are joined by a whole plethora of other games, over 400 at the last count. Microgaming, Red Tiger Gaming, NetEnt, Yggdrasil – these are just some of the developers that have slots listed here. For full details, visit the slots lobby.

Contact Support

Bingo Ballroom offers an area called ‘Game Help’ and it is here that you can find a ‘how to’ guide for their bingo. Alternatively, if you’re in the bingo chat room, you may find that the host on duty may be able to answer your question, or at least direct you to the right page.

If you do need to contact support then you are able to do so using the following methods:

Sister Sites

All of the Dragonfish bingo brands are considered Bingo Ballroom sister sites and a more comprehensive list can be found here.

Below are just a few of the sites that are related:

TV Adverts

We’ve never seen a Bingo Ballroom advert on television and it’s unlikely that we will do in the future. What might have been nice, and what would tie in nicely with the brand name, was a sponsorship for Strictly Come Dancing!

Should this brand choose to release a commercial in the future, details of the advert will be featured in this section of our review.

Review Summary

3.5

Summary

This site may not get a 10 from the judges but we have awarded it a 3.5 out of 5-star rating from us. There’s no reason to give it a higher score from the panel because it has nothing unique to offer and is just consistent with other brands on the network. However, if you’re happy with your Bingo Ballroom dancing to the same tune as many other sites, then it’s worth a visit because you know exactly what you’ll be getting.
