Mint Bingo Review

Mint Bingo

About

A breath of fresh air happened to the world of online bingo in September 2020 when Mint Bingo launched. Reported to be on the new Dragonfish platform called Snow White, it could be just the freshen up required that the industry has been looking for. Whilst the home page does little to make the brand stand out from the crowd, the operators have a ‘pukka’ history with bingo!

Welcome Offer

As a new player making your first deposit following registration, you get quite the welcoming virtual handshake. Remember to use the bonus code MINT though, and your minimum deposit has to be £10 on your first deposit.

You are awarded a £10 bingo bonus, 20 slot spins, and 5 bingo tickets the moment that you make your deposit using the bonus code.

The £10 bingo bonus can be spent in any room, the 20 slot spins on a game of Mint Bingo’s choice and the 5 bingo tickets are for the Big Bang game.

What’s not apparent on the welcome offer page is that you are also given access to the Daily Doozey for three days from the point of registration with the brand.

This room is a free play 75 ball pattern bingo room and available from 7 am until 10 pm daily. Prizes vary from game to game with the minimum being £1 and the top prize being £5.

Wagering Requirements

There are wagering requirements on the bonuses awarded to new players, and for the £10 bingo bonus, this is 4x. The T&Cs state that if applicable the winnings from this part of the bonus will be capped at £100 + the original bonus amount.

The free spins are only for use on a game of the site’s choice and winnings will be capped at £2. All winnings have to be wagered 40x.

The 5 free bingo tickets are allocated to the Big Bang game but are only available for use in the first 30 days following your first deposit. After this time they will expire. Any winnings from these tickets are credited as a bingo bonus and therefore have the 4x wagering requirements attached to them.

Deposit and Withdrawal

The number of payment options is limited when compared to those available at other online bingo sites. That said, the two most favoured options, for UK players at least, are available here.

You can deposit to your account using a debit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay. You can also deposit via the telephone if you wish.

The minimum deposit amount is £5 (£10 to claim the welcome offer) and the minimum withdrawal amount is the same.

Promotions

At the time of preparing the review for Mint Bingo, it looks as though they hadn’t got around to launching any of their additional promotions yet.

There was just one listed alongside the welcome offer on the dedicated promotion page when you registered and logged into your account, and this was due to expire on 10th September 2020.

It’s the only promotion we have to use as an example though, so here it is:

Exclusive Launch Promo – in addition to the welcome package set out earlier in the review, new players were also awarded 10 daily free bingo tickets per day for seven days. These were for use in the £50 Daily Treat Room. Additionally, 5 free spins were available daily and cashback.

For the latest promotional offers, we suggest a visit to the promotions section of the Mint Bingo website.

What the site doesn’t promote very well, things that we consider promotions at least, are the selection of free games and jackpot games available. All of these can be found when you enter the main lobby.

Bonus Codes

To claim the new player offer from this site you have to use the promo code MINT.

There are no other Mint Bingo bonus codes that we are aware of but we do know that the marketing strategy for brands from Tau Gaming includes sending bonus codes by email or SMS. For this reason, we suggest ensuring that you have registered to receive at least one form of communication from them to receive any bonus codes they have to offer.

Bingo and Slots Games

When it comes to game choices for bingo you have quite the selection. There is 75 ball in two variants; the pattern bingo version and then the multi-line. Of course, there is 90 ball bingo too but the options don’t stop there. 52 bingo is offered too.

All of the bingo comes with standard games (the type where ticket sales determine the jackpot), progressive jackpots, and then guaranteed jackpot games with various prize pots to choose from.

Ticket prices range from 0p, the free games, to as much as £10 per ticket for the Big £10k. The latter might have a hefty price tag per ticket but the prize pool is pretty impressive!

The bingo offerings are well set out in the main lobby with Specials, Free, Daily Jackpots, Invite Only, and All to choose from in the navigational menu.

As for slots, there are over 500 different titles to choose from under the tab labelled slots. The chances are you will find the majority of popular games at Mint Bingo as they have slots from all the major developers.

Contact Support

This site, like many others on the same network, offers a pretty comprehensive FAQ section. We were certainly able to find all the answers to our questions for our review there.

However, it might be that your query is not answered in that section and you need to contact support for a resolution. If that is the case then you can do so by using any of the following methods:

  • Live Chat – only available between 1 pm and 7 pm currently
  • Webform for email

Sister Sites

Tau Gaming is the owner of this particular Dragonfish bingo site and whilst there are hundreds of sites powered by this software, there is just a handful that can be considered sister sites based on the company that owns this brand.

Other sites from Tau Gaming include, but are not limited to, the following list of which we have bingo reviews for:

Other popular Dragonfish powered sites that are not operated by Tau Gaming include:

TV Adverts

Mint Bingo was still in its infancy at the time this review was compiled so as yet, we have not seen the brand take to the small screen to advertise itself to viewers.

Should the brand choose to market their bingo offering on this platform, this page will be updated accordingly and a link to the commercial posted in this section of our review.

Review Summary

3.5

Summary

To be honest, we were expecting much more than Mint Bingo had to offer. We were looking for more promotions and a little more substance than just your bog-standard Dragonfish networked bingo site. They didn’t deliver at the time of the review so it’s just at 3.5 at this point for this site.

With that said, as the site ages we could see more in the way of promotions and special offers and they could see their star rating increase. Watch this space!
