Cracker Bingo Review

Cracker Bingo

About

Cracker Bingo launched in November 2018, just as the festive season got underway and they joined several other Christmas-themed brands like Jingle Bingo, Season Bingo, and Santa’s Bingo. Like dogs though, bingo isn’t just for Christmas!

The name behind the brand is Tau Gaming and the software provider is Dragonfish. This site is part of the Real Money Network which means no wagering is required on the bonuses that are awarded.

There’s a clue in the brand name as to what sort of fun is available here, and whilst it may not be Christmas every day of the year, there’s plenty of goodies to be found in this gem of a bingo site. The home page shows the enthusiasm that the site has for bingo and slots, with an array advertised. Those showing are just a small taster of what it has to offer when you sign up to play here.

Whilst the design has changed slightly since it first launched, red remains the main colour. Waiting to greet you is a lady sporting what looks like a selfie pout! That’s not all the greets you, sign up to play here and you’ll get a decent welcome offer with your first deposit.

Welcome Offer

Although the minimum deposit required at Cracker Bingo is just £5, a £10 deposit is required to receive the new player welcome bonus. Once you have completed your initial deposit using the bonus code CRACKER, you will receive all of the following:

  • 60 free bingo tickets for the Street Party game
  • 4 free bingo tickets for the Big Bang game
  • 10 free slot spins on a game of the brand’s choice when you have wagered £5 of your initial deposit

Wagering Requirements

As this site is part of the Real Gaming Network, there are no wagering requirements attached to the bonus that you receive from Cracker Bingo as a new player.

However, there are some rules worth noting around the freebies that you are awarded. For example, the bingo tickets will only be available in your account for 30 days. After this time, any unused tickets will be removed from your account.

Winnings from the free spins are capped at £1 and any used spins will expire after seven days.

Deposits and Withdrawals

When looking at the banking options available at Cracker Bingo, you will see that all of the usual choices from a Dragonfish site are available. All of the options are available to UK players, except for Interac, but not all are available to players from other regions. You can fund your account as a UK player using any of the following options:

  • By telephone: call 0808 238 9814 from the UK or +44 808 238 9814 from outside the UK
  • Debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay (when using an Apple device only)

The minimum deposit allowed is £5 (but £10 is required to claim the welcome bonus) and the minimum withdrawal amount is £5.

Promotions

Promotions are not listed on the home page of Cracker Bingo but instead are listed in the left-hand navigation when you are logged into your account.

There were only three promotions listed at the time of the review and one of those was the welcome offer for new players. The other two are ongoing, with the Daily Promo changing every day.

Cracker Rewards was the other listing on the page and this is the loyalty program from the brand. Every day you get the opportunity to earn free spins and free bingo tickets.

In addition to what is listed on the special page, this site is also home to a selection of free bingo games for depositing players, and of course, as we have come to expect from all sites on this network, there are an array of jackpot games happening at regular intervals.

Bonus Codes

Bonus codes are used frequently at Cracker Bingo, starting with the welcome bonus. The Daily Promo also uses bonus codes to free up the special of the day. As an example, on 19 April 2021, the code SECRET would have earned you 55 free bingo tickets and 5 free spins when you deposited £5 using the code. Please note: this code was only valid for that day. Check the Daily Promo every day to reveal more bonus codes from this brand.

Game Selection

So what will you get by way of bingo and slots when you register to play at Cracker Bingo? Plenty is the simple answer! If bingo is your thing then you will find four different game types. The site boasts two variants of 75 ball and these are the more traditional pattern games sometimes referred to as 75-24 games, and the five-line version sometimes called 75-25. As you would expect from a UK facing site, 90 ball is also available. To complement these, there is also a 52 ball variant on offer.

Tickets for bingo range from the free play, no-cost games to higher value ticket prices for the big money jackpots. In between there are penny games, 5p, 10p, 25p and 50p options too. There is something to suit every budget.

Looking at the slots menu, the choice is abundant in this area, and with the option to play some games on the same screen as your bingo, you can enjoy both at the same time.

Whether you are a fan of the old-school classics like Fluffy Favourites, Thunderstruck, or Cleopatra, or if you prefer the latest launched, you will find over 400 different slot titles in the portfolio here.

There is a handy search function in the slots arena, so if you know what you are looking for, it’s easy to locate amongst all the titles from developers like NetEnt, Microgaming, Eyecon, and many others.

Contact Support

In the main menu of Cracker Bingo, to the left of your screen, you will find a handy FAQ section that’s quite extensive. If this area doesn’t answer any query you may have about the brand, then you also have the following support options available to you:

It’s worth noting that the chat hosts that are often on duty are well-versed in the Dragonfish product so it may be that they are able to answer any questions you may have.

Sister Sites

Cracker Bingo is owned by Tau Gaming, which markets the website. With that said, any brand that operates using Dragonfish gaming software can be considered a similar website. These include:

TV Adverts

Cracker Bingo has not yet been seen on our television screens advertising their site but that’s not to say that they won’t choose this medium in the future. Should they launch a TV advert, details of the commercial will be found in this section of our review.

Review Summary

3.5

Summary

Cracker Bingo is a bit of a ‘cracker’ but falls short of a high rating because it does little to stand out. We were expecting an array of unique promotions but were disappointed to find anything different from other brands from Tau Gaming. With that said though, there’s plenty of choices for both bingo and for slots, and with many low-cost games and big money prize pots, it’s a brand worth a ‘crack’ at even if we have given it just a 3.5 star rating.
