Daily Record Bingo

About

Daily Record Bingo has quite the history in the world of online bingo but it hasn’t always been on the Jumpman Gaming software that it sits on now. When it first launched it was part of the Cashcade network powered by the 888 software. However, like many sites on this network, it moved to the Virtue Fusion/Playtech software. The brand then disappeared from our screens for a while but in 2021 made a reappearance on the Jumpman Gaming network powered by Pragmatic Play. A step backwards some might say.

Daily Record is the national daily newspaper of Scotland but don’t be fooled, unlike The Sun’s bingo offering, the gaming experience at this site isn’t quite as impressive. Whilst their goal, as per the home page spiel, is to ‘bring you the best gaming experience from a brand you know’, it sadly falls short of the mark.

With that said, the welcome offer for new players can result in up to £6,000 bonus cash being added into your account, but like all brands powered by this software/network, it’s more about the slots than the bingo. If you love the Pragmatic Play bingo product and prefer brands more weighted towards slots, it’s the site for you.

Welcome offer

As a new player at Daily Record Bingo you are offered the chance to spin the Multiplier Wheel not once, not twice, but three times. Each spin is triggered by a minimum deposit of £10 and the wheel is lined with different bonus multipliers, the biggest of which is 10x! Up to £2,000 can be won from each of your three spins, resulting in a maximum potential bonus of £6,000 across your three spins.

Wagering Requirements

There are several rules and wagering requirements attached to the bonuses offered by Daily Record Bingo. The most important of which are the 65x wagering requirements that are attached to winnings plus the maximum bonus conversion is equal to your lifetime deposits of up to £250.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Daily Record Bingo offers four depositing options to players at their site. These include two of the most popular options, debit cards, and PayPal. The other choices for banking are Pay By Mobile and Paysafecard.

The minimum deposit amount required is £10, the minimum withdrawal amount is the same. Please note that all withdrawals from this site are charged £2.50 per transaction!

Promotions

Daily Record Bingo has a dedicated promotions page and it is here that you will see a selection of both time-limited and regular offers from the site, including the welcome package for new players.

Some of the ongoing deals that can be found include:

  • Birthday Bonus – Login to your account on your birthday and you can spin the Mega Wheel to win up to 500 free spins.
  • Free Spins of The Month – If you make a deposit of £20+, you will then be given the chance to spin a Mega Wheel to win between 20 and 500 free spins. These free spins will be credited to one of two games that change every month.
  • Happy Hours – Log in to your account between 3 pm and 7 pm every Wednesday for your chance to win 10-500 free spins on a different slot each week.
  • Friday Fun – Every Friday at 8 pm you have the chance to win a share of £2,500 for £1 a ticket.

Each month the time-limited promotions change so it’s worth popping back to the page to see what the next month has to offer.

The site is also home to Trophies, an ongoing promotion where you earn spins on the Mega Wheel for completing particular tasks. The more tasks you complete, the higher your loyalty level rises and the more free spins can be won.

Bonus Codes

Daily Record Bingo bonus codes are not used to access the special promotional offers but it may be that this brand, like many other online bingo sites, use bonus codes to entice players back to make a deposit. There’s a section on the depositing screen for a promotion code which is indicative of this being the case.

In order to receive this type of bonus, you need to be registered to receive marketing material. This can be via post, SMS, or email.

Should we be offered an exclusive bonus code for our readers, this will be available to view in this area of our review.

Game Selection

When you log in to your Daily Record Bingo account for the first time, it’s hard to even know where the bingo is! You have to use the navigation arrows on the menu to scroll along to find the bingo section.

Once you have found the area, you can see what’s on offer in the way of bingo. The site offers a nice variety of bingo games (30, 75, 80, and 90 ball games are all available), with varying ticket prices and prizes. At the time of the review, there were 12 bingo rooms.

The site is heavily weighted towards slots, casino, and table games and there is an abundance of titles to choose from in these areas. Many different software providers can be found in the portfolio including Red Tiger Gaming, Yggdrasil, NetEnt, Leander, Pragmatic Play, Eyecon to name just a few.

Contact Support

Support options from Daily Record Bingo are limited to just email – support@dailyrecordbingo.com.

There is an FAQ section available under Help but if we are honest, information in this area is quite limited and far from extensive.

However, many might consider all sites under the Jumpman Gaming hat as sister sites for this brand. These include, but are not limited to:

TV Adverts

Daily Record Bingo have not taken to the TV screens to promote their product, and if we had to hazard a guess, it’s unlikely that we will see them use this medium in the future.

If they do choose to advertise in this manner, details of the commercial will be added to this section of our review.

Summary

Unfortunately for Daily Record Bingo, a move to the Jumpman Gaming/Pragmatic Play hasn’t done the brand any favours. There are very few bingo-related bonus offers, high wagering requirements, poor customer service and a disappointing £2.50 transaction charge per withdrawal, as such, we could only award the site a 3-star rating at a push. The only reason it has achieved this score is the Trophies promotion, nothing else holds any appeal.
