OK Bingo Moves Again

OK Bingo has quite the history in the world of online bingo and today we bring you the news that it has made yet another change! When the OK brand first launched a site for bingo players it did so on the Cyberbingo Network. In April 2011 that network closed and the brand was left virtually ‘homeless’ along with other sites on the network like Daily Express Bingo.

It wasn’t until July 2013 that we saw the OK Bingo brand rise like a phoenix from the ashes on the G2 Gtech / St Minver network. This wasn’t to be a long-lived union because in July 2014 GTECH sold for an impressive $6.4 billion to ITG. ITG chose not to continue offering bingo and OK! Bingo closed in 2016.

Fast forward to 2020 and the brand is back on our screens thanks to owner Reach Gaming making a move to the Jumpman Gaming platform.

OK Bingo

So what’s new at OK! Bingo? Well, the simple answer is pretty much the same as what you will find at any site on the same software and network. All too often nowadays we see ‘new’ bingo sites open when actually all that is on offer is a new home page design and a different gaming experience to those that players of the previous offerings from the brand were used to.

With that said, when a site re-opens on a new platform, albeit with a four year wait for the new site, all players, returning or brand new, are eligible to take advantage of the welcome bonus. This virtual red carpet may not be as impressive as some of the new player deals on offer from other online bingo brands, but if you played on the other two versions and took advantage of their welcome offer, you’ll have had three bonuses as a new play over the last ten years.

Whilst the home page of the new OK! Bingo features the well-known logo of the magazine, there is nothing else that links the two together. What we’d have like to see, and what might have given the new site a bit of a tie-in between the two, would have been the chance to win a year’s subscription to the magazine that boasts celebrity news alongside the latest showbiz, TV and soap spoilers.

Although in its infancy, may be this will be something that we see introduced as the site gains traction in its new guise. Could it be that we see the introduction of a celebrity gossip blogs or a competition to see OK! Bingo players asked to send in their snaps with famous people for the chance to win a bonus or prize?

For the time being, OK! Bingo players will have to make do with the standard promotions from the network. Below are just a couple of examples of the type of offers available from the newly launched brand:

  • Welcome Offer – deposit £10 for your chance to spin the wheel and win up to 500 free spins.
  • Newbies Cashback Bonus – for the first 31 days of your time with OK! Bingo you are eligible for a 2% cash back bonus daily, double the usual Newbie cashback value of 1%.
  • Turbo Wheel – If you deposit £100 or more, each deposit of this high value will earn a spin of a different wheel that will win you 50 or more spins on a variety of the different slots available.

Please note that wagering requirements are quite high at Jumpman Gaming sites at 65x any bonus that you are awarded. Additionally you are charged for withdrawals.
