Rocket Bingo Review

About Rocket Bingo

It was in 2014 that Rocket Bingo launched into the world of online bingo and the site promises to give you a little more for your money than your average Jumpman Bingo Site. Step into an intergalactic world of adventure and exploration and as the site says ‘blast through the stratosphere and explore the boundless opportunities.

That said, whilst the owners really have done their best to make Rocket Bingo stand out with a unique promotion or two away from the standard offerings on this network, they are still limited by what the network has to offer by way of bingo games.

However, the introduction of Pragmatic Play bingo and an extensive selection of slots and instant win games certainly make up for the shortcomings of the overall Jumpman experience. It’s also worth noting that this brand had also won ‘Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site’ award in 2016.

Welcome Offer

Get straight into the Rocket Bingo cosmos with a welcome package that looks impressive. New players who make an initial deposit of at least £10 are given the opportunity to spin the Mega Wheel.

The Mega Wheel has various segments with all but bar one offering you a prize. These prizes could be anything from 100% up to a whopping 1000% bonus match which is worth up to £1,000.

Wagering Requirements

This is where the impressive welcome offer starts to lose its appeal. Firstly the maximum bonus conversion to real cash is equal to your lifetime deposits of up to £250 and secondly, there are 65x wagering requirements attached to the bonus cash.

Deposit and Withdrawal

The deposit options are quite limited but with the most popular choices for funding accounts available to bingo players.

Debit cards can be used as well as PayPal, Paysafecard and if participating in the games and making a deposit using mobile, you can use Pay By Mobile.

The minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts are £10.

It is worth noting that when using Pay By Mobile to deposit, there is a £2.50 transaction fee for deposits of £5, £10, or £20.

There is also a £2.50 fee on all withdrawals, which means if you withdraw £20, you will only receive £17.50.

Promotions

The promotions page at Rocket Bingo looked quite impressive at first glance, especially with the mention of something exclusive to the brand. Unfortunately, whilst advertised as a unique offer that took place every Wednesday on their Facebook page, a visit to the social media site revealed that this had not taken place since 2019.

With that said, the regular network promotions are all available to players at the site and the Trophies challenges are part of the package.

To complement these there are a number of others all listed on the dedicated page and below are just a couple of examples available at the time of this review (October 2020):

  • 200 Club – if you can collect 200 trophies in a month then you will be rewarded with a £10 Amazon voucher.
  • Friday Fun – for just the price of a £1 ticket you can play for a share of an impressive £2,500 jackpot every Friday at 8 pm.

Bonus Codes

Bonus codes are not standard at Rocket Bingo but if you agree to receive marketing material from the brand, either by email or SMS, then you may find yourself furnished with a bonus code.

However, with rewards aplenty for completing various tasks and earning Trophies, it may be that a Rocket Bingo bonus code only earns you a spin of the Mega Wheel.

Should we receive any specific bonus codes for this brand, they will be listed here.

Bingo and Slots Games

Although promoted as a bingo site, it’s slots that are most prevalent and popular amongst players at Rocket Bingo. The introduction of Pragmatic Play bingo in early 2020 certainly enhanced the bingo offering quite dramatically.

You now have both Jumpman and Pragmatic Play with three different game variants of bingo available. There is 75, 80, and 90 ball game to choose from. Bingo Millions is a hit with players.

If it’s slots that you are looking for, at Rocket Bingo they aren’t a side dish but more the main course with over 600 to choose from!

With many developers choosing to list their product on the network, it is unlikely that you will not find something to get the rocket fuel pumping in the slots department.

Contact Support

Support at Rocket Bingo isn’t quite as player-friendly as you might expect and part of the reason for this is that there are no chat hosts in the rooms. It was back in 2016 that the network merged the chat rooms and then shortly after, closed them completely. Chat hosts are often the font of all knowledge about a bingo product and the rooms, the place to ask an array of questions.

However, whilst they do not offer the chat hosts, there is an FAQ section. Unfortunately, this is pretty sparse when it comes to information.

The only other option left to you is to email support@rocketbingo.co.uk. They aim to reply within 2 business days.

Sister Sites

Meteor Marketing are the actual owners of this brand and they have several other online gambling titles under their belts.

The only Rocket Bingo sister site for bingo is Volcano Bingo owned by this company but there are also a few slot sites in their portfolio. These are:

  • Slot Games
  • Rocket Slots
  • Slot Shack

When it comes to other sister sites, all of the Jumpman Gaming / Pragmatic Play titles are considered ‘family’ to the brand and these include:

TV Adverts

Although Rocket Bingo has their own YouTube channel, we have yet to see the brand take their product and market it on television.

It’s unlikely at this stage, several years after launch, that we will see them launch a TV advert. However, should this happen at any time in the future, you will find all the information in this section of our review.

Review Summary

3.5

Summary

Rocket Bingo nearly scored a little higher than most sites on this network because the promotional page referred to a weekly competition on social media (Facebook).

However, a visit to their page found that this last happened in January 2019! Sadly, what gave this brand an edge over the others appears to have disappeared into a black hole so it’s just a 3.5-star rating for them too.

High wagering requirements, limited deposit options, and a charge to withdraw can’t be ignored just because they have impressive slots and some great bingo games.
