Bucky Bingo Review

Bucky Bingo

About

Bucky Bingo has been giving players a bucking good time since 2008 and in that time it has had a couple of different incarnations. It started on the online bingo scene powered by the Virtue Fusion / Playtech platform but in February 2020 transitioned to the Dragonfish network. What you may not know is that Bucky Bingo is derived from Buckingham Bingo; an independent retail bingo club that launched in the 1970s!

Welcome Offer

The welcome deal for new bingo players covers all the proverbial bases if you are looking for a site that gives you a bonus for all game options. There’s something for the bingo player, something for the slots enthusiast, and a little of what we all love free bingo!

A new player who makes their first deposit of just £10 will be treated to a 200% bingo bonus and 20 free spins on Starburst.

Before you even make a deposit you can access the Daily Doozey free play room from 7 am until 10 pm with prizes of between £1 and £5 per game. This is available to you for three days from the point of registration, no deposit required.

Wagering Requirements

The wagering requirements aren’t excessive when it comes to the bonuses offered by the site. 4x the value of the bonus for bingo is pretty much standard for online bingo.

When it comes to the wagering on the slots bonus, this is quite high when compared with many other brands online a 99x the games bonus amount. It’s worth noting that not all instant win games contribute the same percentage towards meeting the wagering requirements.

If you do get lucky with the slots bonus, you can only transfer a maximum of £100 to your real cash balance, and your original deposit value.

Withdrawals are allowed before meeting the associated wagering requirements but any bonus remaining in your account will be lost.

Deposit and Withdrawal

The usual depositing options are available at this site with preference amongst players being PayPal and debit cards. The other option which is becoming increasingly more popular for those with Apple devices is Apple pay.

The minimum deposit amount is £5 and the withdrawal minimum is the same.

Promotions

The promotional offers are quite varied at this site and include multiple free bingo games, the Daily Jackpot game where you can win up to £5,000 every week, Mystery Jackpot games that boast prizes of up to £500, The Big £10,000 game.

It’s always worth checking with the brand directly as to what the current offers are as new ones are added and old ones removed on a regular basis.

Bonus Codes

Whilst we have not yet been furnished with exclusive Bucky Bingo bonus codes, if you’re keen to make the most out of any deposit you make with the site you should ensure you have registered to receive marketing material from them.

Also, from the pulldown menu when in the main lobby there is a section called ‘My Bonuses’. Here you may find that the site has posted an offer for you that contains a bonus code.

The only regular code that we are aware of is HOUR. This can be used during the Happy Hour period which runs from 4 pm until 6 pm every Monday to claim 100% bingo bonuses worth up to £100 on every deposit.

Should we be made of any other codes available from this site, it is here that we will post them.

Game Selection

The bingo lobby is the hub of the site and it is here that you can see exactly was the brand has to offer both in bingo games, slots, jackpots, and any specials.

When it comes to bingo you have four different game types available across over 20 different rooms. There is 75 ball and 90 ball bingo, the former in two different versions (pattern and multi-line). Bingo Roulette is also a game choice here. Rooms are open throughout the day so whether you are a night owl, an early bird, or looking for some lunchtime luck, you will find a room open.

For the slots connoisseurs, there are a whole plethora of options to choose from. Some can be played alongside your game of bingo as mini games whilst others are available on a separate screen.

There’s over 600 different slots and instant win titles to choose from and you’ll find popular titles like Fluffy Favourites, Gonzo’s Quest, and many others. NetEnt, Quickspin, Eyecon, and SG Games are just some of the developers whose games you will find at Bucky Bingo.

Contact Support

Bucky Bingo provides players with a number of options to contact support should it be needed.

You can telephone them on 0800 901 2510 or you can email help@bingosupport.org.

That’s not all though; with Dragonfish bingo sites, you will find that all of the hosts have a decent knowledge of the product and often, they are able to answer any queries you may have. If they can’t, they will direct you to the page or support that you require.

There is also an FAQ section on site but this was quite limited in the information available at the time of writing the review.

Help chat is also available from the main bingo chat rooms if required. This is an online chat option.

Sister Sites

As part of the Dragonfish network, there are many sites that are considered sister sites to Bucky Bingo. The list is far too extensive to include in its entirety but below are just a handful of the bingo brands on the network:

TV Adverts

Once upon a time, in the days that the site was powered by the Virtue Fusion / Playtech software, the brand did advertise its wares on television.

The commercial featured an animated character, a cross between B.A Baracus from the A Team and some dodgy 70’s porn star or pimp, strutting his stuff across the screen to a catchy 70’s tune.

*Please note any offer promoted on this TV commercial will be out of date. Please check the welcome offer for new players at the beginning of this review.

Since moving to the Dragonfish network we have not seen any television marketing for the site but if they do launch another campaign, we’ll let you know.

Summary

Bucky Bingo doesn’t stand out from the crowd in our opinion but with acceptable wagering requirements, a trusted software platform, and a few decent promotions, it has scored an acceptable 4-star rating from us.
We’d like to see more in the way of promotional offers from the brand but the overall gaming experience is good even if the site itself doesn’t ‘buck the system’ and bring something new to the table.
