Rosy Bingo Review

Rosy Bingo

About

It’s not until you register with Rosy Bingo that you get a look at the design for the brand. The landing page before registration is a bit bland, but ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’; there’s more to this online bingo site that first meets the eye. They roll out the virtual red carpet with a decent welcome package and continue to deliver with great games and a friendly community.

Rosy Bingo started life with a different moniker; in 2011 when it was first launched it was known as Rehab Bingo. It was in 2018 that the Advertising Standards Authority intervened following a couple of ads for the brand. It was felt that the name condoned socially irresponsible gambling behaviour and that gambling could provide an escape from personal problems. Broadway Gaming took this on the chin and promptly rebranded.

Since its relaunch in 2018, the site has gone from strength to strength but more changes happened when, in early 2021, Rosy Bingo moved from the Microgaming software to Pragmatic Play. The change of software improved the gaming experience for players giving the site a new lease of life and there seems to be plenty happening around the site, both bingo and slots, to maintain your interest in the brand.

Although the site does not list a minimum withdrawal amount, anything under £20 will incur a £2 withdrawal fee.

Promotions

We were a little disappointed at the promotional page at Rosy Bingo as everything appeared to be what you would expect as standard from an online bingo site.

The emphasis was on the Jackpot Got2Go games and then other ‘promotions’ were just advertising games that happen at the site like BoomBox and Bingo Blast.

In addition to these, the expected promotions like slots tournaments (Slot Sprints) and loyalty (Rewards) could be found on the page.

There were no time-limited promotions or special offers advertised at the time of the review.

Bonus Codes

Rosy Bingo does not offer bonus codes as standard to their players but if you opt-in to receive marketing material from the site, you could be sent bonus codes via email or SMS.

If we are able to secure any exclusive bonus codes, you will find details of them in this section of our review.

Game Selection

With big names like Microgaming and Pragmatic Play behind Rosy Bingo, it goes without saying that you are spoilt for choice in both bingo and slots if you choose to play here.

Although the number of bingo rooms is not quite as many as you may be used to at other sites, there is plenty of variety to be found here with 75, 80, and 90 ball games all available.

It’s when you move on to slots that the choice becomes abundant! There are literally hundreds of different titles to be found and from a multitude of different developers. Big-name slots like Fluffy Favourites from Eyecon, Thunderstruck from Microgaming, and many more!

These are complemented with a selection of table games like Blackjack and Roulette as well as a number of video poker games.

Contact Support

Rosy Bingo has a Help Centre which is set out in an easy-to-navigate layout. There are multiple areas to choose from including General, My Account, Deposit, Withdrawal, Account Verification, Offers and Promotions, Technical Issues, and Responsible Gambling.

Sister Sites

Broadway Gaming group have several other bingo brands available online today and these are the Rosy Bingo sister sites:

TV Adverts

Whilst Rosy Bingo has never advertised their wares in TV adverts, the previous incarnation of the brand, Rehab Bingo, was seen on television.

The commercial featured an X Factor star from the seventh series in 2010, Mary Bryne. She made it to the live semi-final before being eliminated. Rehab Bingo was Ireland’s only charitable bingo site, and Mary was Irish so it was an expected collaboration.

Summary

It’s hard to be enthused about Rosy Bingo when the promotions leave a lot to be desired. However, what you do get from this site is a great variety of bingo, a huge choice of slot games, and friendly hosts in the rooms. The introduction of Pragmatic Play is quite new, so we are hoping to see improvements. For now though, it’s just a 3.5 star rating for this brand.
