Spectra Bingo Review

Spectra Bingo has been around for quite some time, originally launched back in 2006, and in that time it has undergone many changes. The majority of these have been in the design of the home page. Its history in the world of online gaming proves its popularity with bingo players and it continues to retain their interest.

The most recent redesign of the site gives it a fresh feel and on the landing page, a quirky young lady juggling bingo balls greets you. The colours are eye-catching and the welcome bonus attracts the eye. You’ll also see a snapshot of just some of the games available at Spectra Bingo.

Sadly the changes that have been made over the years have seen the brand lose some of the things that made it stand out from the crowd. Once upon a time, we recall the site offering free gifts with all first deposits. However, as the online bingo landscape has changed, these have become a thing of the past.

Registration is a painless process with the usual information required to get started on your journey with the brand. On a trusted network, you’re guaranteed a safe a secure online bingo experience with this site.

Spectra Bingo has a dedicated area for promotions that is accessible when you head to the main lobby. To the left of the screen is the My Offers section.

Sadly, at the time of the review, there was very little on the My Offers page. Just two promotions were showing; the Power Penny Game and the Self-Made Millionaire.

However, whilst the site may not advertise all the great deals they have to offer you as a player, you only have to enter the lobby to see the impressive array of jackpots, free bingo, and tournaments.

The free bingo offered as a new player when we registered to the site saw the following prize money available on the game played whilst compiling the review:

  • One line for 10p
  • Two lines for 20p
  • Full house for 30p

There was a two-hour wait for the next free game after our initial one.

Bonus Codes

Like many online bingo sites currently, Spectra Bingo does not offer bonus codes as standard. However, you may find you are sent a bonus code for use on your next deposit if you have opted in for marketing emails from the site.

Should we secure an exclusive offer from the site, the bonus code and details will be listed in this area of our review.

Game Selection

The main lobby is the hive of all the activity at Spectra Bingo and it’s all set out in an easy to navigate, interactive format. From the left-hand menu, you can see the option of Bingo or Slots.

For bingo, there are several variants available with 75 ball in two varieties, 90 ball bingo, and 52 ball bingo to choose from. The bingo lobby has several menu options from the horizontal navigation including Live Bingo, Special, Exclusive, Money Makes, Free, Grand 55, and All.

When you have chosen a section to visit, you will see information about each room. The details shown include the prize pot for the next game, time until the next game, game type, number of players, and the name of the chat host if one is on duty.

When it comes to slots, there are so many to choose from that the horizontal navigation comes in useful if you don’t know what game you want to play. It’s set out with Trending, New Games, Daily Jackpot, Progressive, Slingo & Instants, and All Games. You also have a search function if you know the name of the game you wish to play.

With over 500 different titles to choose from, you won’t find yourself getting bored at this site!

Contact Support

You can access the support options at the site by clicking the pulldown menu next to your username in the main lobby. Navigate to the Useful Links and then Support.

You can use the following methods to contact Spectra Bingo directly:

Sister Sites

All sites on the Dragonfish network could be considered sister sites of Spectra Bingo, but these are more like relatives than actual siblings. The true sister sites of the brand are those owned by the same company, under the same affiliate program, United Affiliates.

The bingo brands under this hat on the same bingo software are:

TV Adverts

Spectra Bingo has never opted to promote its product on television, and given its long history in the world of online bingo, it’s unlikely that it is something we are likely to see in the future.

Should this change, and they do opt to create a commercial, then you will find details and the advert itself in this section of our review.

Review Summary

Spectra Bingo has been awarded a 3.5 star rating because although the site is powered by one of the most trusted software platforms and operated by a giant in the industry, it lacks personality. There’s nothing new or out of the ordinary in the promotions section and whilst it has all the hallmarks of a great site, it’s all the same as what we have seen many times over from hundreds of other sites. We need something a bit more for a higher rating.
